I had Curry for 2 instances. The first was to replace a leaking roof vent flashing and they did a great job. My 2nd instance was after Hurricane Milton where I lost 2 roof tiles - they repaired it after several months, but I find it hard to be happy about spending $1100 to replace 2 roof tiles.

We live in the Village Green community and just had a new tile roof put on the house/condo. We took about 3 years to decide what company we would use and in that time frame we documented what companies were in the neighborhood, how much neighbors paid for their roof, and what kind of service did the neighbors receive. I found that two companies were in the neighborhood more than any other company and the companies were Curry and Conway. Alvin Singleton was just behind them. In that time I called several different roofing companies to get estimates and with it taking three years I had to have some of the companies come back out with a new quote. What I found after all was said and done is the following: Conway, Singleton and all other roofing companies besides Curry were estimating between $33,000 and $36,000. In 2021 Curry gave an estimate of $37,000 and this year, 2024, they gave an estimate of $45,000. Curry was $10,000 more than the other companies. I called Curry and asked why are you about $10,000 more than the other competitors. The answers I got were as follows: you’re paying for the name and the experience of Curry, Curry has been in the area since 1986, they were more reliable than the other companies, their workmanship was better than the other companies, and they were chosen more over the other companies. I had one more question that I wanted to ask but I had already gotten the answer, but I’ll ask you the question. Do you really think they are worth $10,000 over the competition? I guess you will have to make that decision yourself. Here’s a little hint, one is a good decision and the other is kind of like throwing away money.

It's been over 7 months but finally roof replaced. Quality of work seems excellent,I'm not competent to evaluate work. Their final inspection is tomorrow. The follow up and communications are horrible. 2.5 month delay after waiting 4 months to find out their supply issues were an issue. Had to work with GM who finally got definitive time to start. Completed job no info that final would be done and no info when gutters would be installed but quick to ask when will they be paid. Again workers were excellent management is horrible. Will not use them again. Could not get return calls until GM stepped in and never connected to Curry All work completed and satisfied, used replacement tilesin rear, probably ran out, not a match but no one could see the mismatch. Should have shared this with us.

I’m definitely in the middle. The salesman told me that I would be so impressed with the professionalism by all the staff but that happened to be untruthful. Associates of Curry were asking to use my bathroom and they were slamming stuff on the roof super hard to where we thought they were gonna fall through the roof. They messed up my gutters and got tar on the side of my house and gutters. I told them about how the worker just blew all the roof particles on my new 14000 dollar AC. They came out and I told them to leave. They sent the same people out there and they were looking at me like why did you say something. They installed broken piece of shingles and knew they did it. They came out and “fixed” the broken ones but why would they even attempt to do that to me. It’s like they were conning me and treating my property with disrespect. I keep looking at my gutters and they put them back on tilted forward and slanted the wrong way. Luckily I paid in full because I keep noticing more damage to my home and it’s gonna cost me time and money to fix something that should have never been broken in the first place. My lips are sealed when it comes to recommendations on a new roof. Also one day they were working they were sleeping all over my yard and underneath my vehicles. Why are they sleeping.??? I have videos of them sleeping all over my yard.

I'm going to give roofing by curry a 3 star just becues of how everyone I talked to was very nice...There other reason why they are being a 3 star and not a 5 is there price...I was looking to get a brand new roof me and my wife are the kind of people who like to save money but get quality work so we had 4 estaments done and then one day we was in are car and the joy fm was one and were heard about roofing by curry like we always have so said let's give them a call they took a little longer then others to come out but they did..we got the estaments and the price was 4 grand more then the other 4 places we have called and the other places all have good reputations and review as does curry..being Christian I tend to sometimes trust Christian company's a little more that they will be fair and not try to price goug me...but after 4 other reviews and they were that far off that a big job for the same service and work that others will be doing...so I commend them on how the people that I talked to was there but going by price is say check around there are other good cheaper people out there with the same quality...and for them giving 2 free roofs away each year to people in need...I can see why now with that's price I would need help to...
