We recently replaced the old tile roof of our house in Osprey with new tile and hired Roofing by Curry to do the job. We are super pleased with the result and the Curry team made the process as easy and smooth as possible. The sales rep, Tony Nichols, was truly helpful and guided us through the tile selection, pricing and scheduling, and explained the numerous payment options. The job was completed ahead of schedule and on price. Doug Dickson, project manager, kept the process moving, organized the crews and laid out the schedule so we could be prepared. All the crews that worked on the job, from stripping the roof of previous tiles, re-nailing and replacing bad plywood, sealing the roof with new underlayment, laying the new tiles and vents, and putting on the finishing touches were diligent, worked very hard, and were respectful of our property. They were well trained and professional – no loud music blasting from the roof or crew members shouting to each other. At the end of each work day the crew cleaned up the worksite. Our tile choice was a four or five color mix of browns, tans and terracotta tiles. The job foreman, Ffren, took extra care in mixing the multiple color tiles for a pleasing mix with no bunching of colors. The whole crew was meticulous and took pride in their work. Tile roofing is hard, dirty, and noisy work and we couldn’t be more pleased with the way Curry and Doug Dickson managed the process. The driveway, garage door, windows, plants, and pool were all protected by coverings. They have their own dumpsters on wheels that are constantly filled and towed away so the job is not delayed waiting for a dumpster company to come and pick up their full dumpsters. Since the Curry dumpsters are on rubber wheels your driveway is not scratched and it’s a quiet process coming and going handled by pickup trucks. The whole job went quickly and smoothly with new materials delivered and old ones hauled away minimizing delays. No stacks of materials were blocking our driveway or killing the grass on our lawn. When new materials appeared so did the crew. We couldn’t be happier with the Curry process and the end result was spectacular. Lots of compliments were received from our neighbors. After our new roof was completed the gutter and soffit division of Roofing by Curry put up a new gutter system for us. There were many color choices and we were able to color match with the drip edge and eave closures of our new tile roof. Daniel and Carolina led the process of installing the new gutters and downspouts and arrived at the worksite with all the material needed for the job. They worked closely with us to insure the downspouts were located where they were needed. At times additional crew members arrived to help with the longer sections and insure that the work was finished quickly. Daniel and Carolina were very meticulous in their measurements, and precise in their workmanship and the final result can only be described as a work of art. The corners were precisely matched and sealed and the gutters slope slightly to each downspout. They were very friendly and respectful of our property and cleaned up the worksite before leaving. We are very pleased with the Curry team and the customer service. The process was minimally disruptive and the result is impressive. I highly recommend Roofing by Curry.

I had Curry for 2 instances. The first was to replace a leaking roof vent flashing and they did a great job. My 2nd instance was after Hurricane Milton where I lost 2 roof tiles - they repaired it after several months, but I find it hard to be happy about spending $1100 to replace 2 roof tiles.

We called a few different roofing companies as we had minor hurricane damage. Curry Roofing responded quickly, sent their guy out to provide a quote, and within about a month our repairs were made. The other places weren’t interested in our small job. We literally had a roof vent and a couple tiles damaged so no one else was interested. They also were able to get replacement tiles to match our roof. Our builder left us no extra roof tiles. I’d definitely call them again when needed.

We live in the Village Green community and just had a new tile roof put on the house/condo. We took about 3 years to decide what company we would use and in that time frame we documented what companies were in the neighborhood, how much neighbors paid for their roof, and what kind of service did the neighbors receive. I found that two companies were in the neighborhood more than any other company and the companies were Curry and Conway. Alvin Singleton was just behind them. In that time I called several different roofing companies to get estimates and with it taking three years I had to have some of the companies come back out with a new quote. What I found after all was said and done is the following: Conway, Singleton and all other roofing companies besides Curry were estimating between $33,000 and $36,000. In 2021 Curry gave an estimate of $37,000 and this year, 2024, they gave an estimate of $45,000. Curry was $10,000 more than the other companies. I called Curry and asked why are you about $10,000 more than the other competitors. The answers I got were as follows: you’re paying for the name and the experience of Curry, Curry has been in the area since 1986, they were more reliable than the other companies, their workmanship was better than the other companies, and they were chosen more over the other companies. I had one more question that I wanted to ask but I had already gotten the answer, but I’ll ask you the question. Do you really think they are worth $10,000 over the competition? I guess you will have to make that decision yourself. Here’s a little hint, one is a good decision and the other is kind of like throwing away money.

My experience with Roofing by Curry has been very positive. Due to hurricane Debbie my roof developed several leaks causing damage to my ceilings. I was not in florida during the hurricane so all my contact was done with photos and phone calls. Sean was and is my contact person and he assisted me in repairing my tile roof with what i believe a fair price and work.

This company from start to finish did one heck of a job. I would like to fully recommend this company and its expertise to anyone who may be considering a NEW ROOF or even roof repair. From the point of sale to the final cleanup at the very end I can say I am a HAPPY CUSTOMER!!! I will say as with any job there will be speedbumps or hiccups along the way. We ordered special tiles that needed to be ordered and made and cured. If you are getting a new roof, be aware of the time it takes to make tiles and cure them. It's an interesting process, which I would encourage a homeowner to inquire before moving forward with any company. Curry is really careful about keeping things clean for the most part, however, I would recommend they use more preventative practices for when using the mortar. Doug Dickson the Project Manager for our job with Curry was fantastic. Such a great disposition and very intelligent. I felt very comfortable working with him. Job took approximately 4 weeks to finish from start to finish once they started working on tearing up the roof. The workers do their best to keep things clean and professional. I highly recommend this LOCAL company for your next roof. Thank you!!!

After a recent hurricane, we were left with a leak above our bathroom. We chose Roofing by Curry to repair the problem. My husband and I were very impressed with the highly professional proposal presented by Roofing by Curry. That was followed by the actual work one week later which was equally professional. Curry workmen, Arturo and Augusto, arrived on time and began the methodical repair of the leak in our tile roof. Tiles in are area of concern were removed carefully, the roof repaired step by step, and then the tiles replaced one by one. They walked the rest of the roof, found one other chipped tile, and repaired it. Both men were hardworking, knowledgeable, and thorough. Just had my tile roof done by Curry. Very impressed with this company. From start to finish they were professional, courteous, on schedule with good communication from start to finish. I interviewed 5 companies and was impressed with Curry's reputation and the fact that they have a good history, a large company with all of their own employees..not transients and subcontractors as most. Doing a tile roof is a big project and nerve wracking for the owner. Curry's tear off and dry in crew masked everything around the house not damaging any of the landscaping. putting plywood up against the garage and on the driveway to minimize damage. The tile crew (my crew was headed by Oscar) was exceptional. They don't just lay tiles they are artists carefully mixing the tile colors for best appearance. explaining everything I had questions about. They were courteous and respectful of my property. I was happy to give them a good tip for they earned every dime of it for their performance. I've been in Florida over 40 years. I don't give out recommendations lightly. I would highly recommend Curry. And their prices were in line with all of the other quotes I received. I also recommended them to the owner of the home I sold 10 years ago who had some storm damage. and they did a good job there. What more can I say. Thank you Curry.

I recently had a roof repair done by Curry. I honestly felt lucky they came when they did, right after the hurricane. This was scheduled prior to the storm, so I expected a delay. However, I feel the repair was done not up to standard. The workers or the supervisor never checked in with me after the work was done, and I was billed automatically for the balance. The issue is they did not match my tiles to the existing roof. I was going to let it pass based on all the issues people have had with Ian, but now my association is not happy. I hope they will contact me to correct this.

Entire staff was responsive from the office to the roofing craftsmen. Jay helped with selection of materials and the initial contract/order. Jose was the project manager and checked progress daily and answered any and all questions, as well as, any recommendations to improve the roof drainage, etc.. Accommodations were provided to allow the house to be painted with dormers and upper features done after dry-in but before tile. The team leader on the project was congenial/friendly and answered questions for me whenever I had a concern. The quality of the work was outstanding and the needed repairs to the old under layment well accomplished. This is a great company that provides excellent craftsmanship. Peaks and valleys were reinforced with metal over seal down and the seal down was a high quality material. When the job was complete there was follow-up to insure satisfaction. Wind mitigation inspection and documentation were provided and forwarded to my insurance company for credits. Based on my experience, I would recommend Curry Roofing to anyone.

What an amazing experience! By far one of the last things you want to worry about as a home owner is a leaking tile roof. My wife and I mustered up the courage to call and get a quote. The range for the proposal of work was decent to breathtaking. Once the workers actually got on the roof and peeled back the tile, the cost of the fix ended in the decent zone. We have recently used Roofing by Curry to fix broken tiles on our roof of a home we purchased. They did exactly as they said they would and more when they quoted us. We noticed about 3 months after they did work on our house something on our roof. We called them and the Sean came out and got up on our roof and said they missed some tiles that were cracked. He sent a crew out within 2 days and they replaced all the tiles on our roof that were missed the first time.
